If your weekend plans involve a stroll through the Downtown Cary Park or exploring the Cary Woman’s Club Garden Tour, you will want to make a detour to the historic Pasmore House this Sunday afternoon.

Vino & Tap is hosting a special “Meet the Winemaker” tasting event on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m., bringing a taste of world-class Spanish vineyards right to the heart of Cary.

The afternoon features guest of honor Jorge Prittwitz of Vivanco, a celebrated, family-owned Spanish wine company with deep roots in the famous Rioja and Navarra regions. Prittwitz will guide guests through a curated flight of four distinct wines from his collection.

The best part? It is a chance to sip for a great cause. Admission is just $5 per person, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Cary Women’s Club to support their local community service and civic improvement initiatives.

For that $5, guests will enjoy roughly 2-ounce pours of each featured wine while chatting with Prittwitz about the history and craftsmanship behind the bottles.

If you fall in love with a particular pour, you can keep the afternoon going. Every featured Vivanco wine will be available to purchase by the glass and by the bottle to enjoy on the patio.

Even better, if you are looking to stock your home cellar for the summer, Vino & Tap will provide exclusive retail order forms during the event. Guests can order their favorite bottles to take home at prices well below standard retail.
